The first in a week of guest strips. I wrote this one, and Sam illustrated it. The link in the original comment is now slightly out of date; the site can now be found here.
I found it interesting that both the artists who did color strips for us gave Matt dark skin, because I never told anyone otherwise. In my mind, his skin is actually a little lighter than Jack's, but it really does not have an effect on the strip either way.

Well, this was my first time actually drawing someone with a goatee (A van-dyke, really) that I actually had to draw well (as opposed to the "Evil Sam" character from my old comic, Idle Minds), so I gave it a shot. The background, however, I'm a bit confused as to how it came about. Everything other than Matt was drawn in photoshop, which I think is rather evident in and of itself. The Christmas tree was rather fun to draw, however; there's nothing quite like scribbling around with green into a tree shape, putting lights on, then blurring the hell out of it. =) Never discount the ability of blurring the hell out of things.
