Chris:
Meet Amy. She gets her name from a bartender who worked at the Denver Press Club when I was a regular there, and her look is loosely based on a bartender who I only met twice, at the 2000 and 2001 Denver International Film Festivals. She stuck out in my mind because of her look and because she actually remembered me at the 2001 festival.

Steph really liked how the old girlfriend in the background turned out, and has bugged me a couple times to writer her back into the comic so she can draw her again. Whether that will happen is still a definite maybe.

The doodle at the bottom was something that Steph sketched out for fun, so we put it up with the comic that week.
